polka pink

The past two summers, I was working/interning at Nordstrom, so as every good Nordstromess knows, last weekend (Memorial Weekend) was Womens' Half-Yearly Sale. My boyfriend's mom & I ran over to check out the scene, but were on a limited timeframe. Naturally, everything I loved (aka, Tory Burch's entire spring line) and purchased was not on sale. I fell in LOVE with this skirt, from the BP department (for those of you that don't understand what the heck Nordstrom's departments mean, BP = juniors). It wasn't on sale, but it was still a steal at $34! I have to say, finding a top to pair with it has been challenging, so feel free to send me some thoughts!

skirt: nordstrom // blouse: zara // heels: zara {old} // clutch: tiny tulip // necklace: francesca's // earrings: kate spade // watch: Michael Kors // bracelets: David Yurman (blue topaz & amethyst & gold buckle), Cartier,  Hermes, Derng // rings: David Yurman (rose quartz {smaller version} & stack & pave), Cartier, onyx class ring

i'm so obsessed with the necklace i'm wearing here, but these pictures didn't do it justice. if you're following me on instagram, you've already seen these close-ups:

  1. Oh gosh that deal on the skirt in the BP dept is amazing! It looks so lovely on you. I like how you put it together. I think the skirt is such a statement piece that it would go nice with a neutral top and bold accessories maybe in a green hue? Just throwing out ideas. Lovely as always xo
